With its muscular hips and interesting contours, the back has a visual width that makes this Z4 look bigger and bigger than its predecessors.
Although it is 3.8 inches longer than the previous Z4 with 170.0 inches in total, the new car has a wheelbase which is 1.1 inches shorter.
